1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using sha.pics (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
sha.pics provides image conversion, optimization, and optional hosting tools. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
3. Your Content
You retain all rights to the images and files you upload. You are solely responsible for the content you process and must have the legal right to use it. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that violates the rights of any third party.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, bypass limits, reverse engineer it, upload malware, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any image processing will meet your expectations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sha.pics and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or images, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. You use the Service entirely at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups of any files.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless sha.pics and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.
8. Privacy
We strip EXIF and embedded metadata from converted images. We do not sell your files. Uploaded files may be processed temporarily to deliver the Service and, where you choose hosting, stored to provide your hosted links.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
